Type: Endorse the Chalk Walk “Another World is Possible” Carnival to be held on Thursday August 9th
History: HEARD AND CONSENTED TO on Wednesday 08/09/2012′s General Assembly
WHAT: Join Chalkupy, Cindy Sheehan, Code Pink and whoever else will be going to the “Chalk Walk” event to be held on Thursday, August 9th.
WHY: To show the city how beautiful free expression is. To create our own space.
HOW: We will set-up on the northeast corner of Pershing Square. We will bring art and art making supplies. We will encourage others to do so as well. Paint cardboard or other materials with chalkboard paint beforehand so some may choose to chalk on that. Bring signs along the theme “Another World is Possible.”
I believe in a world where more is spent on education than war.
I believe in a world where everyone has the right to healthcare.
I believe in a world of empathy.
I believe in a world where vegetable gardens are legal.
